sorry it took so long to answer your? I use shop lights with
grow lights

There is one window, but it is a small window, the lighting
is a shop light with grow bulbs,since most of my plants are tropicals, the windows in my house just isn't good for plants
I have to use the basement, I keep the lights on all the time
