20 years ago my Dad 'extended' our shoreline property at the cottage by approx. 2 ft (just filled in the rocks with dirt and planted grass seed). Well, this winter Mother Nature at her 'best' or at her 'worst', your choice ... decided to put the shoreline back to where it had been. The highest point of the rocks that got pushed back and up on to the propery is 4 ft. The cottage is ours now, we think we will leave the shoreline where she put it. But we will have to hire someone to push the rocks back in. Our shoreline is only 50 ft and about 35ft is pushed up.
