Phalaenopsis need fertilizer all year. Use 1/2 the recommended amount. If the amount on the container calls for 1/2 teaspoon per gal use 1/4 teaspoon. I use Dyna-Grow Growth formula all year on my phals.

Here is a pic of a orchid I got last summer that I had almost given up on. This is a pic of what I hope will turn into a bloom. I have not fertilized it since I got it. Do you think I should fertilize it with this new shoot or will it stress it too much?
